Personal Development Tip – Handling the May Need it Someday Paperwork Pile

Select the time periods that you feel is best for you. Here’s an example: you select four time periods, but are the week, month, six months and one year. Label a file folder for each time period.

If you have an item that I think may be necessary in the future, but life is nothing more than a week. Write the date you for a week hence, and put it in the back of the folder named “Week”. Each week, beginning on the front of the Week archive and throwing objects over a week that no action be taken. Follow the parallel practices of articles that choose to save in the month, six months and one year tickler files. Just be sure to purge the archives of the weekly, monthly, etc. Otherwise, clogging the files, and you’ve won anything.

Please delete the files that will create the same frustration that comes from having hemorrhoids and all files on your desktop and have disorganized computer files and folders that have been buried in them, somewhere, things that “may need someday.” Of course, you will still be frustrated because they will be able to find them when needed.
