I’ve found that every guy I’ve dated that has had a lot of bad things to say about an ex wasn’t really over them. Sometimes people use animosity to mask their true feelings. Yes we’ve all had bad exes but it’s one thing to simply say ‘They didn’t treat me right’ (whether you choose to go into further detail is your choice) but to be constantly bad mouthing them? No one does that unless they still have strong feelings for that person yet those feelings are mixed with emotional pain of being hurt.
