Frasier picked up its second season with another round of comedy as intelligent as its pompous title character. Fortunately, the sniping between Frasier (Kelsey Grammar) and his father, Marty (John Mahoney), which occupied much of the first season is mostly past, and the crack was all ready to roll in a series of memorable episodes. Frasier tries to establish Daphne (Jane Leeves) with the manager of the new season. . . Read more>>

I zipped right through this DVD set. In the second season of Frasier is as strong as the first, and in many ways, stronger. The Niles / Frasier develops dynamic large result, the writing is strong, the perfect performance, there are special appearances by Lilith and Sam Malone, and the season is almost perfect, without even a pileup or a filler episode. The result is part of the situation comedy ever richer appear on television.

Some of the highlights include the gay / straight farce “The Matchmaker”, “The Botched Language of Cranes Frasier is classic, where everything goes wrong, then even worse, after Frasier makes a comment over Seattle facing the city against him. There is also an episode where Roz leaves to produce show Bulldog (Roz in the Doghouse), “An Affair to Forget” has Frasier Maris suspected of cheating on Niles and won an Emmy for writing. There is also a visit from the nefarious agent Bebe (Agents in America, Part III), and a great episode that Niles and Frasier try to run a restaurant, expected to be crazy. These are just some highlights of this amazing season of television.

In summary, this is as close to perfection as television gets. Highly recommended.

I have always enjoyed Frasier. The first season tends to be about Frasier’s relationship with his father and adjust to living together. The second season focused more on “Frasier” and the relationship of his brother Niles. Increased attractiveness of Niles, Daphne, his father’s physical therapist, is also highlighted. The second season was always fun and won the Emmy for best comedy that won that year (one of a record five straight Emmys for best comedy.)

I loved the episode, “The Botched Language of cranes, “where he tells a psychiatrist Frasier depression caller to his radio show out of Seattle to a sunny place where it does not rain much. Of course, the entire city of Seattle, reacts to this and “Frasier” has to consider what to do about it! Five extra short

“Marching The second season of”
“The Mystery of Maris Continues”
“Meetings of Councils Roz”
“The Niles and Daphne Attraction “
” And Then There Was Eddie “
are rather short (about 20 minutes total) and not as interesting as it sounds. I enjoy them, but I probably will not see again. The commentary track on the role of “The episode” Matchmaker was worth seeing. I am pleased to see a list of celebrity callers! Were not always mentioned in the credits, and I always want to know who are the callers.

The video quality is much better than the cable TV signal I have. In my big screen TV there is some degree of harshness, but not terrible. The mode is full screen instead of widescreen. The audio is Dolby Digital 2. 0, which seems appropriate for a sit-com. The voices are clear and easy to understand. In general, the quality of video and audio very acceptable to a televison program of this type. I am satisfied with this DVD set, and I recommend it.

In my honest opinion, this is the best season of “Frasier” never, in fact, one of the best seasons in the history of TV sitcom.

From the first episode of ” Slow Tango in Seattle “(where dallience Frasier with his piano teacher is the subject of a popular book) to last” Dark Victory “(Marty’s birthday suffers a blackout across the city) is a no no in pileup the bunch.

Disc # 1 has the trifecta of “The cruelest cut of all”, where Eddie park activities have produced a litter of puppies. “The Matchmaker” (a classic), where the new head of Frasier Frasier thinks he is making an appointment with him instead of Daphne. The scene where Marty laughs may be one of the funniest in the history of the series. “Flour Child” has Niles carry around a bag of flour to simulate 10PD, which is like to care for a baby. It also has a scene riotus Niles, where hijackers recounts his dream of stealing his “baby” and the dispatch of muffins in the mail.

Disc # 2 is another winner, the highlight was to me, “Roz in the Doghouse” with Bulldog in its absolute finest. JoBeth Williams turns in a pretty sight in “Adventures in Paradise”. And bury the grudge “Marty has come to an agreement with its longtime partner of the police who are in the hospital.

Disk # 3 brings back Sam (one still in Ted Dansen-white) and his soon-to-be wife played by Tia Leone. And the sumptuous Shannon Tweed gets into the act “if I scratch the Book …”. Even a minor seeminly episode as “Daphne’s Room” contains laughter when Frasier somehow keeps winding up in his room without permission. Look carefully at the image Frasier takes, is a real Gutbuster a Revalation.

Disc # 4 has the unique combination of “An Affair to Forget” (which won an Emmy for writing) unforgettable a fencing match between Niles and Maris fencing instructor. The strange title “Agents in America, Part III” brings Baby (Frasier agent) back into the fold. His “suicide” attempt is absolutely hysterical. And finally “The Innkeepers” (another instant classic) when the crane Brothers foolishly buying a restaurant and expect disaster.

Extras:
There is a clue Comment from “The Matchmaker” with writer Joe Keenan and director David Lee. It is informative and quite funny, especially when they point out some of the dialogue and scenes that were missing which should be included.

Career also includes the Scenes typical of different episodes on the subject, “Meetings of Councils Roz”, “The Mystery of Maris” and “The Niles and Daphne Dating Attraction” are superficial and not necessary. But exceptions are “And Then There Was Eddie” which presents a nice introduction of “Eddie” on the beach and “Marching On Season 2″ where Peter Casey and David Lee extolling the virtues of that particular season (Peter Casey declares that in its 23 years of experience in television, not always matched season of Frasier Season 2, which is a bold statement of insurance). The interviews were shot at the very moment that they are presented in a DVD season.

In general, this collection is a must for Frasier fans. If you fell in love with the show in recent years is due to yourself to get this DVD set.

Suggestions:
< , br /> “Adventures in Paradise” are the first two episodes of the series Frasier.

Despite his appearance lasts about 2 seconds, “Adventures in Paradise ( Part II) “is the first time we see Diane Chambers (Shelly Long) in” Frasier. “

There’s a guy blooper of what happens in” Adventures in Paradise (Part I) “. Both Frasier and Roz look at the photo of Madeline (in Seattle, In Style magazine) on the “left” page. When Bulldog looks at the photo, it looks to the right of the “page”.

Bulldog also seems to have gained some weight during the season 2. Compare your physical fitness between “Roz in the Doghouse” and the sting of the “innkeepers”.

Look for Diedrich Bader (Oswald on the “Drew Carey Show”) date of Roz in “innkeepers”.

In “Roz in the Doghouse,” the song “Mr. Pitiful” is played over a montage of new producers of Frasier . I think this is the first time in the history of the series that publish song was used in this way.

By age 14, you do not expect me to be in this show. But I think it’s fun! My mom is a big fan of Frasier and now has made me one. Once bought Season 1 on DVD, I have seen all the episodes of crying with laughter. And when he bought Season 2, I laughed even harder. This season is definitley the value of its cash. It is even better than the first season. And has some great bonus material. If you like Frasier and want to see something that will leave you in tears, then get this. Some of my favorite episodes this season that will leave you laughing so hard are: Chamber
Daphne – I had to see it again and again because it was so damn funny.
Inkeepers – Frasier and Niles buy a restaurant. And it raises the total chaos!
Flour Child – Niles is considering having a child w / Marice, but not safe. So put a sack of flour and treats him like a baby!
There are many more episodes this season that are very good and fun. Now stop reading and go buy this now !!!!!!

I say, I am positively excited about the upcoming release of the second season of Frasier. I liked being trapped by the first season with all the cute and insane arguments, and I remember waiting for the second season, when he left in ’94. As I said, I caught the first season, but the second. . . Well, I say that the second season runner every one, ten or more years. In fact, the Daphne + Niles stories caused a break in the second season we see more of life outside of Frasier’s radio station (aka “The Matchmaker”, one of the best half-hour episodes of a show ever ), and there was much more exploration in the past of Frasier, with events like Lilith and I think dear old Sam from Cheers (another of my favorite comedies of all time). But in general, “Frasier” ‘s second season always the same, if not more loudly than the first, and brought this show to the greatness it has achieved. I am particularly pleased that Paramount will launch the season after season of this wonderful show, and I encourage everyone to not only buy season 2, but all that is yet to come.
